Heats heavy fuel oil as it is needed by a heavy fuel oil burner. Because viscosity is lowered by pre-heating, the heavy fuel oil can be atomized by the burner. The pre-heater increases the heavy fuel oil temperature 100 degrees at a rate of either 700 GPM or 1000 GPM depending on the model. Thermal fluid is used to heat the pre-heater. Internal tank mounting of a pre-heater less insulation and skin is also available.
